Jio is probably the only operator offering VoLTE HD voice calling service in India. In simple terms, VoLTE means Voice over LTE. This service is similar to Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), which you can use to make free voice and video calls using the internet. You can also access applications such as WhatsApp, Skype, and Google Hangout’s.Now, Jiofi allows you to make HD voice calls with high-quality clarity. Apart from making and receiving voice calls, you can also use Jiofi to send text messages.
JIofi video call process :
Jiofi local html access jiofi dongle to be able to make video and voice calls using your Jiofi device, you will first need to install the Jio 4G application on your phone. After successful installation of the app, connect your phone to the Jiofi device. Now that the app is already installed on your phone, open the 4G voice app. The application will then prompt you to register or activate your mobile phone. Here, enter your Jiofi simcard number. You will receive a One-Time-Password (OTP) on your phone. Enter it to successfully verify the process. Afterward, the app will ask whether to access your contacts and messages. Click on Allow. After this step, your contacts will be synchronized with the Jio 4G app for voice. You can now use the calling feature via your Jiofi device.Make HD Voice Call, Video call and SMS through JioFi:
1. Open normal phone dialer on your 2G/3G/4G Smartphone2. Type a number or select a contact and tap on call button
3. Jio4GVoice app will automatically appear with your selected contact
4. Click on "Green" coloured voice call button to make voice call through the Jio SIM present in your JioFi
5. Click on "Green" coloured Video call button to make video call to your Jio Contacts through the Jio SIM present in your JioFi
6. To make a call through the other SIM, tap on the "Grey" coloured Voice call button at the bottom right
7. To send an SMS, open the Jio4GVoice app and go to messaging tab
8. Compose your message and select your contact Tap on Send* button and Select the JioFi option to send the SMS.
